(Beaver Dam) Brienna Landsness, is the 2018 recipient of Beaver Dam Area Community Theatre’s Jerome H. Kamps Memorial Award. The award is in memory of Jerome Kamps, a co-founder and charter member of BDACT and a dedicated art teacher at the Beaver Dam High School for thirty-four years. To qualify for the $500 annual award, the recipient must be a graduating senior from Beaver Dam High School, Wayland Academy, or a high school from the surrounding area, who is pursuing post-graduation education. Landsness is a recent graduate of Beaver Dam high school, where she was an active participant in BDACT and high school performances. She will be starting her college career as a psychology major at UW-Green Bay and says she plans to continue performing for the rest of her life.
