(Reeseville) A three-day jury trial was scheduled Wednesday for a Carlisle, Pennsylvania man charged with assaulting two minors in Dodge County. Steven Barlow is facing two felony counts of First Degree Sexual Under 12 Years of Age. Barlow’s attorney requested to have his client’s $50-thousand-dollar cash bond reduced but it was denied. Two girls notified their mother in 2018 that they were assaulted a few years prior. According to the criminal complaint, the assaults occurred while Barlow was living with the victim’s family in Reeseville between 2015 and 2017. At that time the victims were between the ages of four and six. When contacted by authorities, Barlow at first denied the accusations and said if anything happened he did not remember. During subsequent conversations, Barlow allegedly admitted to the assaults and said it occurred only once or twice. If convicted, the 24-year-old is facing a maximum sentence of 120 years in prison. The trial is set to begin on August 24th.
