(Iron Ridge) A Juneau man is facing 10 years in prison for endangering the safety of his girlfriend. Anthony Gasper has been charged with Second Degree Recklessly Endangering Safety as well as two misdemeanor charges of Criminal Damage to Property and Disorderly Conduct. Iron Ridge police were called to Fireman’s Park in September following reports of a two-vehicle crash. Witnesses reported seeing one car smash into another’s rear-end multiple times before it began pushing it forward for roughly 300 feet, causing the victim’s vehicle to swerve. The vehicles involved were later located at a nearby residence. Gasper denied knowing anything about the crash when questioned, but reportedly said the victim took $200 worth of his pills. The 31-year-old allegedly said that he did not care about the victim’s wellbeing and hoped she got hit by a car. An initial appearance is scheduled for November 29th.
