JULY 12TH – EAT YOUR JELL-O and PECAN PIE

Mandarin Orange Dessert

6 oz. pkg. orange Jell-O®

2 c. boiling water

11 oz. can mandarin oranges

1-pint soft orange sherbet

Dissolve Jell-O® in boiling water.  Drain oranges, reserving juice in a measuring cup.  Add water to the reserved juice to make 1 full cup.  Add juice mixture to the Jell-O® and mix.  Chill until slightly thickened.  Fold in the sherbet and oranges.  Pour into a 1-quart mold or bowl and chill until fully set.
