TJ Julka was hired as the new Beaver Dam High School girls basketball coach on Thursday.
“I coached this year’s junior class throughout their youth time in Positively Hoops program. I had a couple of those players, including my daughter (Emma Julka), ask if I would be willing to do this and that was a pretty tough thing to say no to.”
Julka has coached youth basketball on both the boys and girls side in Beaver Dam. He is also currently the Beaver Dam Post 146 American Legion varsity head coach. He has also been very involved in youth baseball and softball, including serving as President of Little League.
Julka is a 1994 Fond du Lac Goodrich graduate and has lived in Beaver Dam since 2003.
