Jennifer W. Beitz

Jennifer W. Beitz, age 50, of Marshall, died on Wednesday, March 29, 2023 at UW-Madison Hospital, with her family at her side.

The visitation will be at Zion Ev. Lutheran Church in Columbus on Sunday, April 2, 2023 from 3:00 p.m. until 6:00 p.m. There will also be a visitation on Monday at the church from 10:00 a.m. until 10:50 a.m. The funeral service will follow at 11:00 a.m. with Rev. Ben Zuberbier officiating. Burial will be at North York Cemetery in the Town of York, Dane County, Wisconsin.

Jennifer was born on June 14, 1972 in St. Paul, Minnesota to Lonnie and Julie (Hyne) Sutton. She was raised in Redwood Falls, Minnesota and graduated from Mankato State University. Jenny married Dan Beitz on September 7, 1996 in Redwood Falls. They later moved to Marshall, Wisconsin, where they raised their twin children, Hallie and Walker. Jenny lived her life with a positive attitude and inspired so many to do the same. She brightened any room with her smile and sense of humor. Jenny knew how to make people laugh and was the queen of having a good time. She loved to dance and would look forward to seeing local bands perform in the area. She was strong willed and her determination and courage was inspirational to all.

Jenny will be missed by her husband, Dan of Marshall; children, Hallie and Walker (Olivia Gimsbach); brother, Patrick (Kerri) Sutton of Ramsey, MN; nephew, Jack Sutton; niece, Lindsey Sutton; aunt and uncle, Bill and Chris Sutton; cousins, Blake Sutton, Roger, Steve, and Dan Weiland; other relatives and so many special friends. She was preceded in death by her grandparents; parents; aunts and uncles.

Jenny was passionate about the importance of being an organ donor and would encourage all to do the same. If you desire to do something in her name, donating life would be what she would want.
