Jennifer “Jenni” Kaye Walter

Jennifer “Jenni” Kaye Walter, 38, of Waupun, formerly of Beaver Dam, passed away unexpectedly at home on Wednesday, March 13, 2019.

Jenni was born January 29, 1981 in Beaver Dam, the daughter of David and Ann (Henke) Walter Sr. She attended Lincoln Elementary School and Beaver Dam Middle & High Schools. The most important thing in Jenni’s life was her family, especially her daughters and nephew. Some of her employment included Walmart, Glasfloss, and Beaver Dam Shared Ride Taxi. She touched the lives of many people, especially the residents at various nursing homes in Beaver Dam. She found great joy in serving them by being their taxi driver.

Jenni grew up as an avid camper and shared that passion with her children. She loved having the biggest bonfires with family and friends. She would always shout two campsites down saying “Al my fire is bigger than yours”. Some of her best friends were met while camping. Jenni’s parents were active with the Jaycee’s and she was raised as a Jaycee kid. She helped with multiple community projects such as the sandbox fill and Easter egg hunt. Jenni’s family was awarded with the Jaycee Family of The Year award, both locally and regionally in 1989.

Jenni loved playing cards with her Grandma Henke. She had kissing parties (Hershey chocolate kisses) with her Grandpa Henke. She enjoyed time on the farm at her Grandpa & Grandma Walter’s, especially learning to drive mopeds. When she was young she enjoyed playing with her cousins at the park and having sleepovers at her Grandpa & Grandma Henke’s house. Pudding pops, Springtime soda, cup-a-soup, and French toast were always on the menu. Throughout the years, Jenni loved her pets. Her first pet was a cat named Princess, followed by the dogs Buddy, Austin, Kaycee, Roxci, and Snoopy.

Jenni dedicated her life to helping others.  She always offered a helping hand to anyone in need.  She was a devoted mother, sister, aunt, daughter, granddaughter, friend and trusted confidante.  Jenni was a kind, caring, non-judgmental, supportive, compassionate, loving, encouraging, genuine, silly, gentle, nurturing, understanding and “superwoman”. Jenni proudly raised two beautiful young girls as a single mom. Before her Grandpa Henke’s passing, she took care of him daily.
