9/10/17 – Members of the Jefferson County Farm Bureau will hold their annual meeting this month. All Farm Bureau members are encouraged to attend the meeting to help create policy resolutions and vote in elections for county board directors. The Wisconsin Farm Bureau is often asked to get involved in issues affecting rural Wisconsin production and agriculture both in Madison and Washington, D.C. This fall, Farm Bureau members across the state will be crafting, discussing and forwarding policy recommendations on emerging agricultural issues including water quality, labeling and marketing of agricultural products and the 2018 Farm Bill. The meeting will be held at the Plattdeutscher Hall in Watertown on September 24 starting at 6:30pm.
