Jean Kay Moeller, age 68 of Fox Lake, passed away on Wednesday, February 14, 2024 at UW-Hospital in Madison.
Jean was born on May 27, 1955, the daughter of Paul and Elsie (Sabgash) Brady. She was united in marriage to her husband, Wayne Moeller. Being adventurous, Jean enjoyed camping, as well as UTVing, snowmobiling, golfing, and boating for most of her life. She loved horses, especially the hunters, and liked showing in Western Showmanship. In her free time, she could often be found beading for jewelry, reading, music and singing, or inventing something new to cook. An animal lover, she cherished her cats and dogs, particularly her cat, Sara, and horse, Styles. Jean was a member of Annunciation Catholic Church in Fox Lake.
Jean is survived by her husband, Wayne; daughter, Teresa Gross; stepsons, Kevin (Marisa) Moeller and Nicholas (Megan) Moeller; step-grandchildren, Garret and Eli Moeller; siblings, Bonnie Humphrey and Jane (Mark Bebel) Brady; father- and mother-in-law, Carl and Joan Moeller; and further survived by other relatives and friends.
She was preceded in death by her parents; and other relatives.
A memorial gathering for Jean will take place on Monday, February 19, 2024 at Annunciation Catholic Church, 305 Green St., Fox Lake, from 9:00 a.m. until the time of the memorial service at 11:00 a.m. A luncheon will follow at the church.
