(Beaver Dam) The Dodge County Fair has announced one of its main stage acts for this year’s event. Jameson Rodgers will play the Moraine Park main stage on Friday, headlining an all-ages show that will begin at 8pm.
Fair officials say fans will recognize Rodgers’ hits like “Cold Beer Calling my Name” and “Some Girls,” which became platinum-certified. Rodgers’ releases awarded him a Music Row Discovery Artist of the Year honor and a nomination from the iHeart Radio Music Awards.
They add that attendees will receive free general concert admission with their paid ticket to the fair. Two additional free concerts will be announced for Thursday and Saturday evenings.
The Badger State Truck and Tractor Pull will kick-off the event on Wednesday evening, with the Pernat Haase Meats Four Wheel Drive Truck Pull and Demolition Derbies rounding out entertainment on Sunday. The Dodge County Fair returns August 16th and goes through the 20th.
Fair tickets will be available at the fairgrounds gate for only $10 before noon or $15 in the afternoon or evening. Children ages nine and under are admitted for free with a paid adult. Tickets can also be purchased at most Dodge County banks, Beaver Dam Food Pride, Beaver Dam Piggly Wiggly, or at the fairgrounds office.
