Ixonia Woman Accused Of Knife Attack At Ashippun Apartment Is Heading To Trial

(Ashippun) An Ixonia woman accused of attacking another person with two butcher knifes is heading to trial. Holly Molley waived her right to a preliminary hearing Thursday on a number of felonies including Second Degree Recklessly Endangering Safety, Injury by Negligent Use of Weapon, Physical Abuse of an Elder, and Armed Burglary. During a subsequent arraignment hearing, she entered a not guilty plea.

A Neosho/Rubicon/Ashippun police officer was dispatched to a report of a stabbing at an apartment building in Ashippun earlier this month (April 12th). The 78-year-old victim allegedly said Molley attacked her with two large knifes. According to the complaint, the victim had visible injuries to her right hand and above her right eye.

The victim was on her cellphone at the time, trying to call for help from a neighbor, and Molley reportedly took the device and left. The complaint did not give a reason for the alleged attack. If convicted, the 62-year-old faces up to 67-and-a-half years behind bars.
