Iron Ridge Man Dies In Motor Vehicle Crash

(Hubbard) An Iron Ridge man died in a motor vehicle crash in the township of Hubbard Tuesday afternoon. Dodge County sheriff’s deputies responded to County Road S at WS just after 2pm.

The initial investigation showed that the 67-year-old Iron Ridge man was operating a Kenworth dump truck that was heading west on S, approaching County Road WS. The truck failed to stop at the stop sign, crossed both lanes of WS, entered a driveway, crossed over railroad tracks, vaulted and then overturned.

The driver and only occupant of the vehicle was pronounced dead at the scene by the Dodge County Medical Examiner. The crash remains under investigation.

Assisting at the crash scene were: Iron Ridge Fire Department, Neosho Fire Department, Hustisford Fire Department, Iron Ridge First Responders, Horicon EMS, Dodge County Sheriff’s Office, Wisconsin State Patrol, Wisconsin DNR, Iron Ridge Police Department, DCERT and the Dodge County Medical Examiner’s Office.
