Investigation Underway Into Three Vehicle Crash In Clyman Involving School Bus

(Clyman)An investigation is underway for a three vehicle crash involving a school bus, dump truck and a FedEx van that occurred yesterday afternoon in the Town of Clyman. Read the full press release:

On Tuesday, April 6, 2021 at approximately 4:06PM Dodge County Central Communications received a report of a 3 vehicle crash on State Highway 60 at County Highway M in the Town of Cylman, Dodge County.

Initial investigation shows that a 2014 Thomas Built school bus was northbound on County Highway M driven by a 75 year old Watertown man.  A 2016 Western Star dump truck was westbound on State Highway 60 driven by a 56 year old Beaver Dam man. The two vehicles collided in the intersection and came to rest in the northwest ditch. A 3rd vehicle, a 2020 Ford Transit FedEx van drive by a 21 year old Germantown man was also struck causing minor damage.  The driver of the school bus suffered non-life threatening injuries and was transported to Watertown Regional Medical Center by ambulance.  There were 5 passengers on the bus none of them suffered any injuries.  The drivers of the dump truck and transit van were also uninjured.  There was also a 20 year old passenger in the transit van that was uninjured.

The crash is currently being investigated by both the Dodge County Sheriff’s Office and Wisconsin State Patrol.
