(Fond du Lac) There were multiple injuries after a two-vehicle crash in the township of Fond du Lac Friday morning. Deputies were dispatched to Highway 23 at Streblow Drive around 6:45am.
The investigation showed that a passenger car was stopped at the stop sign on Streblow Drive to make a left hand turn. When the vehicle proceeded into the intersection, it pulled out into the path of a westbound passenger car. Both vehicles came to rest in the westbound lane of 23.
The passenger car that was turning was operated by a 29-year-old male from Fond du Lac who was transported from the scene by ambulance to the Fond du Lac County airport. He was meet by a medical helicopter which transported him to the hospital in Neenah for treatment of serious injuries.
The westbound vehicle was operated by a 20-year-old male from North Fond du Lac along with two passengers, a 38-year-old male and a 41-year-old male both from North Fond du lac. All three individuals were transported to St. Agnes Hospital with minor injuries.
Both operators and the two passengers in the westbound vehicle were wearing their seat belts. The driver of the passenger car that was turning was cited for failure to yield right away from a stop sign.
