Monday, April 30th:

TODAY IS: Oatmeal Cookie, Mr. Potato Head, Raisin, Hairstyle appreciation, Honesty

We talked about Raisin Trivia, the history of Oatmeal, Coffee Filter Hacks and repeated the recipe corrections from 2 recipes in last week’s IE edition. We also talked about the 7 kinds of domestic fish you should be eating. We repeated the recipe for Oatmeal Cinnamon Drops that is the featured web recipe for today.


Tuesday, May 1st:

TODAY IS: Chocolate Parfait, May Day, Law, Loyalty, Save a Rhino, Mother Goose, Stepmothers, Cheerios (1941), Empire State Building (1931)

Topics discussed: Mother Goose rhymes, Empire State Building, May Day traditions, jobs we like and don’t like; Derby facts/trivia; headache facts and solutions for relief and how to clean wicker furniture. We also gave the solution for weed killer (water, Epsom salts and Blue Dawn dish detergent)

Wednesday, May 2nd:

Lightening struck our radio tower so we were off the air for about 6 hours so only Daily Dodge listeners could hear us. We talked about rainy days and shared the following recipes: Pineapple coconut Cooler, and Mini Taco-Stuffed Peppers.



Thursday, May 3rd:

Today we talked about words: beautiful words, crazy/weird words. John found “Sniglets” on the web-words that aren’t really words but should be. Also talked about the percentage of Americans who say they cook every day. Wisconsin came in 3rd on the survey list. And we also talked about gadgets that have stood the test of time in the kitchen and why we should make time for gardening. Recipes we shared: Kentucky Bourbon Parfaits, Sloppy Joe Biscuit Bake, Grilled Pineapple Margaritas, and Marshmallow Flower Cupcakes


Friday, May 4th:
