Friday, 02/02

We talked about foods eaten during the SUPER BOWL and how much will be consumed; also about the huge snowman that used to be built each winter in Juneau, where I grew up. Our local vet, Dr. Strouss, (with help from the Highway Department and the Boy Scouts), would assemble a snowman as large as his two-story house on the corner of Main and West Oak Grove Street. We shared these recipes: Chocolate Chip Cheese Ball, Cream of Three Tomato Soups, Sriracha and Caramelized Onion Grilled Cheese Sandwich, Strawberry Kiwi Tartlets, and Knock-Off Chipotle Guacamole.
