(Johnson Creek) Wisconsin transportation officials say the I-94 on and off ramps in Johnson Creek will be closed this week. The eastbound exit and westbound entrance ramps will be shut down from 7pm on Tuesday to 6am Wednesday. The I-94 entrance ramp to I-94 westbound will also be closed to 12am to 4am Thursday, 9pm to midnight Thursday as well as 12am to 6am Saturday. The I-94 eastbound exit ramp to Highway 26 will be closed from 10pm to midnight Friday. State transportation officials say motorists must use alternate routes during the overnight closures. Drivers are advised to plan ahead, slow down in work zones and be alert for crews and equipment near the travel lanes. The I-94 bridge rehabilitation project over the Union Pacific Railroad near the WIS 26 interchange is scheduled for completion in mid-November 2021, weather-permitting.
