(Hustisford) Hustisford students at the Junior/Senior High School will be learning about the dangers of using a smartphone while driving. The school district has teamed up with AT&T, AAA, and the Wisconsin State Patrol as part of the ‘It Can Wait’ campaign reminding students to hold off cellphone activities until after driving. The event will feature AAA’s distracted driving simulator which allows students to experience the dangers of smartphone activity while behind the wheel. They will also watch a documentary titled ‘The Last Text’ and will be encouraged to sign a pledge to keep their eyes on the road and not on their phones. The program will take place tomorrow at the Hustisford High School beginning at 10am.
