A pair of area high school football teams had to cancel their games this weekend because of COVID-19 of COVID-19 releated issues.
Horicon/Hustisford had to cancel their game with unbeaten Marshall set to played in Hustisford on Friday night. As of right now, Husticon’s game with Pardeeville on November 6th is still on. Husticon is 1-1 on the season after starting their season late because of local health regulations. They also cancelled their game with Cambria-Friesland on October 16th because of a pending test.
Cambria-Friesland also posted on their school district’s website they are canceling this Friday’s game with Lourdes Academy because of a positive COVID case on St. John’s Northwestern Academies. The Hilltoppers defeated St. John’s 34-14 last Friday. No Cambria-Friesland players had a positive test. You can read the statement on the C-F District website by clicking HERE
