Huber Inmate Who Failed To Return To Dodge County Jail Given Prison Time

(Juneau) A Huber inmate was sentenced to serve two years in prison Friday for failing to return to the Dodge County Jail following a pre-approved medical appointment. Randall Riese entered a no contest plea to a felony count of Escape. Riese was taken to Marshfield Medical Center – Beaver Dam in October. When a correctional officer contacted the hospital for an update, they said Riese was discharged and left the facility. A warrant for his arrest was issued and around 8am the following morning a Columbia County Sheriff’s deputy reported that he had taken Riese into custody at a Randolph grocery store. The 34-year-old was also placed on extended supervision for three years. The court ordered to the prison sentence to be served concurrently.
