(Beaver Dam) The Marshfield Medical Center – Beaver Dam is expanding its services. The hospital will be adding a Cardiology center beginning Monday (November 25th). Officials with the facility say Dr. Juan Mesa will see patients at the new Specialty Services Center on the third floor of the Vita Park Building on 705 South University Avenue, with Dr. Milind Shah joining him in January. The hospital’s Medical Officer Dr. Jason Smith says the Marshfield Clinic System is dedicated to ensuring patients and families have the care they need close to home. He says they look forward to announcing additional services in the coming months. Dr. Mesa is an interventional cardiologist, helping patients who have complex coronary artery disease. He specializes in catheter based treatment of heart disease and valvular heart disease. Dr. Shah is board certified in internal medicine, cardiovascular disease and interventional cardiology.
