The Horicon wrestling team heads to Johnson Creek tonight for a huge Trailways South dual meet. 1st year head coach Joe Kern says that his squad is 9-1 in dual meets this season and has had success in individual events as well. He says, health, a full roster, and a good mix of youth and senior leadership has been the key to their success so far this year. The Marshmen’s only dual meet loss was a close 42-40 decision to Kenosha Christian Life. A win tonight over Johnson Creek would give Horicon the Trailways South Division Dual Meet championship and send them to the conference meet with a chance to win just the 2nd complete conference championship in school history. The Marshmen were outright conference champs in the 2008-09 season. Horicon hosts the Trailways Conference meet is Saturday, February 8th.
