Horicon Teen Accused Of Biting A Sheriff’s Deputy

(Horicon) A Horicon teen is accused of solicitation then biting a deputy as she was arrested. Alaysha Smith Coleman is facing a felony count of Battery as well as misdemeanor Resisting, Prostitution, and a number of drug related charges.

A sheriff’s deputy allegedly initiated an online text conversation last week, May 12th, with Smith Coleman who was soliciting sexual acts. According to the complaint, she was arrested following an undercover sting.

While in custody, Smith Coleman was reportedly disruptive and made violent threats towards authorities. She also allegedly bit a deputy while being taken to a squad car.

If convicted, the 19-year-old faces up to 13 years behind bars. Cash bond was set at $2,000 and a preliminary hearing is scheduled for this Thursday, May 19th.
