Horicon Survey Goes Live This Week

4/18/17 – The Horicon School Board last night discussed a community survey that is set to go live this week. The questionnaire is a joint effort by the Horicon Chamber of Commerce, local businesses, and the Horicon School District. The survey will ask residents several questions on why they choose to live in Horicon. School District Administrator Richard Apple says that 2,200 employees drive in to Horicon to work, which he says is a startling fact and effects employers and their ability to fill positions and declining enrollment numbers at the school. Apple says that the survey will be sent out electronically via email on Wednesday, is four pages long, and will take roughly five minutes to complete. He does add that hard copies will be handed out if employees do not have emails and links will be available at the school or city websites. Residents have until May 12 to take the survey. Apple says they hope to have all the information and data compiled to discuss at their May board meeting.
