Horicon Signs Off On EMS Contract Extension With Kekoskee

(Horicon) The city of Horicon signed off on an EMS agreement extension with the village of Kekoskee Tuesday night.  The extension will allow the village of Kekoskee to continue to be served by Horicon EMS for another 6 months.  Horicon Mayor Jim Grigg spoke about the extension saying this agreement would be an increase of $200 per month.  Giving his recommendation, Grigg said this would allow the city of Horicon to continue to assist Kekoskee until Mayville, Williamstown, and Kekoskee can resolve their issues.

Earlier this week the city of Mayville approved an offer of a one-year contract totaling $15,000 with a 90-day autorenewal, to span from October 1 of this year through September 30.  It now falls to the village of Kekoskee to approve and accept one of the two contracts available.  Their current contract with Horicon EMS expires the end of September.
