Horicon School’s Fall Play Hits The Stage Friday Night

(Horicon) The Horicon High School fall play is on the stage this weekend. “Once Upon a Pandora’s Box” features students from the middle and high school. Director Cody Ferron gives an overview of the performance.

“We are performing ‘Once Upon a Pandora’s Box’ by Monica Flory. It’s kinda a misnomer of a name though,” says Ferron. “Once you hear Pandora’s Box, you think of mythology. But it deals around, like, brothers groomed villains.”

The show is full of some of storytelling’s best villains including the Evil Queen from Snow White, the Big Bad Wolf from Little Red Riding Hood and Rumpelstiltskin. Braden Warzala plays the Big Bad Wolf.

“I think you should check out our production because there’s a lot of hilarious scenes, Warzala says. “Like when me and Kyra [Mlejnek] fight, the witch losing her mind, it’s just all really good times. I’m sure it will be fun if you came to watch it.”

Once Upon a Pandora’s Box premieres tonight (Friday) at 7pm and wraps up tomorrow (Saturday) with shows at 2pm and 7pm. Performances are at the Horicon High School in the middle school/high school gymnasium. General admission tickets are $7-dolars and student/senior tickets are $5-dollars, available for purchase at Horicon Hardware Hank. For more info on this story, visit dailydodge.com.
