Horicon Marsh Bird Club February Meeting

(Horicon)  The Horicon Marsh Bird Club is inviting you to come join the flock on Thursday February 20th, for the clubs latest meeting.  Held at the Horicon Marsh Education and Visitors Center, this month meeting will allow attendees to learn about waterfowl identification in a fun and exciting way.  Bird Club President Jeff Bahls will explain some of the finer key field marks and fun stories about the waterfowl most likely to be encountered in Wisconsin.  Jeff developed a love for waterfowl at an early age duck hunting with his father along Dodge County’s creeks and ponds, which spurred into a passion for birds of all types.  Jeff will use his nearly 50 years of experience to educate on the species that make this part of Wisconsin a bird watchers paradise.  The meeting is scheduled for Thursday February 20th at 7pm at the Horicon Marsh Education and Visitor Center.  The meeting is open to the public and free to attend.  For more information contact Jeff Bahls at 920-210-4832 or DNR Wildlife Educator Liz Herzmann at 920-387-7893
