Horicon Man Facing Child Porn Charges

(Horicon) A Horicon man made his initial appearance in court Thursday on charges that he possessed illicit images of children. Bryan Hartley is facing two felony counts of Possession of Child Pornography. In April, the instant messaging app Kik generated a cyber complaint against two of its users that uploaded illegal pictures. The accounts were allegedly tied back to Hartley. On September 30th, Dodge County deputies executed a search warrant at Hartley’s residence and reportedly found a flash drive that contained illicit images. If convicted, the 39-year-old faces no more than 50 years in prison. Cash bond was set at $1,000 and a preliminary hearing is scheduled for November 5th.
