(Horicon) It’s bulk pick up time in the city of Horicon. Residents will be able to place approved bulk pick up items curbside on Wednesday October 24th for pick up.
Approved items include:
Rolled Carpeting (4ft maximum length)
Lumber (4ft maximum length)
Play Equipment (must be able to handle)
Items not approved include
Large & Small Appliances
Freon Containing Appliances (such as dehumidifiers & A/C units)
Cardboard Boxes Full of Items (such as clothing & toys)
Computers/Microwaves and other Electronic Waste Banned From Wisconsin Landfills
Non-Containered Piles of Construction Material
Items should be placed curbside without extending onto city sidewalks, or into the street. Items should not be placed out for collection before 6am on Tuesday October 23rd, or later than 6am on Wednesday October 24th. The city reminds residents that only one pass will be made per street and will continue until all streets have been reached.
