Homicide Charges Brought Against At-Large Fort Atkinson Man

(Fort Atkinson) Homicide charges have been brought against a Fort Atkinson man in connection to two shooting deaths earlier this month. Kevin Anderson is facing two felony counts of First Degree Intentional Homicide as well as Attempt First Degree Homicide and Arson. Anderson remains at-large and a warrant has been issued for his arrest. On June 16th, Jefferson County deputies were dispatched to a burglary report on County Road A. Upon arrival, two people were found lying in the driveway who were later determined to be dead. The deceased have been identified as 57-year-old Nedra Lemke and 59-year-old James Lemke. The Jefferson County Medical Examiner says gunshot wounds are the cause of death for both individuals. As authorities were investigating the scene, shots were fired from the residence. A deputy then noticed black smoke before flames reportedly swept through the residence. The 61-year-old Anderson is described as a white male, six-feet tall, 200 pounds, with blue eyes and balding brown hair. If located, people are asked to not approach but contact the authorities immediately. Images of Anderson are available on DailyDodge.com.
