The Fourth of July holiday will delay trash collection in Beaver Dam this week. The city’s Director of Facilities David Stoiser says Veolia Environmental will collect garbage and recycling as part of their normal route on Monday and Tuesday. There will be no collection on Wednesday, which will instead be picked-up on Thursday and the rest of the week will be delayed by one day with Friday’s garbage and recycling taken on Saturday. Monthly brush collection will also be delayed by one day after Wednesday, though city officials will pick-up Friday’s route on Monday. The Beaver Dam Department of Public Works Garage will also be closed on the Fourth.
