Multiple reports this morning state that Aaron Rodgers is returning to Green Bay with a new contract. The new deal is said to be a 4-year deal with $200 million dollars. $153 million is said to be guaranteed.
For Rodgers is most likely means that he could finish his career in the place it started if that’s what he chooses.
Pat McAfee and NFL Network’s Ian Rapoport were the first to report the story.
Rodgers went on social media Tuesday to refute the reported contract number.
Hey everyone, just wanted to clear some things up; YES I will be playing with the @packers next year, however, reports about me signing a contract are inaccurate, as are the supposed terms of the contract I “signed”. I’m very excited to be back 💪🏼 #year18❤️
