1/19/12 – Customers of Wisconsin’s largest natural gas utility are paying their lowest heating bills in a decade. We Energies is saying they’ve got about a million natural gas customers throughout Wisconsin – and the average home paid 173-dollars in November and December for their heating fuel. That’s 22-percent less than the same two-month period the previous year. And it’s We Energies’ lowest average for November-and-December since 2001. Utility spokesman Brian
Manthey says the weather will determine whether the savings will continue. We Energies serves southern and eastern Dodge County, along with Washington and Jefferson counties.
