The Fall River Boys basketball team heads to Watertown on Saturday for a matchup with Heritage Christian in a WIAA Division Five Sectional Final. You can hear the game on 1430 ESPN. The winner gets a ticket to the State Boys Basketball tournament in Madison next weekend.
Fall River advanced to the Sectional Final with Regional Wins over Juda, Blackhawk, and Salam, then knocked out Cambria-Friesland in the Sectional Semifinal this past Thursday night.
Heritage Christian won the Regional with wins over Hilbert and Elkhart Lake-Glenbeulah, then advanced to the Sectional Final with a win over Reedsville on Thursday night.
Heritage Christian was ranked #3 in the final Wissports.net Division Five Coaches Poll of the season while Fall River was 5th.
