HARRY BUCHHOLZ JR.

Harry A. Buchholz Jr., age 67 of Beaver Dam, passed away on Tuesday, February 27, 2018 at University of Wisconsin Hospital in Madison.

Harry was born on December 12, 1950 in Waupun, the son of Harry A. and Katherine (Galland) Buchholz Sr. He was united in marriage to Martha Arnold in Beaver Dam and worked as a machinist at John Deere in Horicon for over 35 years. An avid sportsman, deer hunting and walleye fishing were Harry’s favorite hobbies, and he also enjoyed spending time with his family at their seasonal campsite at Wilderness Campground in Montello. Harry was a member of Dodge County Masonic Lodge 72 and Past Exalted Ruler of the Beaver Dam Elks Lodge 1540. Harry’s patient, kind-hearted and loving demeanor will be greatly missed.

Harry is survived by his wife, Martha Buchholz of Beaver Dam; sons, Robert (Jaclynn) Buchholz of Davenport, IA and Randy (Tami) Buchholz of Columbus; grandchildren, Victoria (Kyle) Bettilyon, Bobbie-Jo King, Aaron Shirk and Alex Hahn; great-granddaughter, Vivienne Bettilyon; sister, Marge (Richard) Schroeder of Waupun; brother, Jim Tank of Florida; and further survived by other relatives and friends.

He was preceded in death by his parents; two brothers, Art and Ron Tank; and other relatives.

A memorial gathering for Harry will be held on Saturday, March 3, 2018 at Cornerstone Funeral & Cremation Services, 135 Keller Blvd., Beaver Dam from 11:00 a.m. until the time of the memorial service at 1:00 p.m. with Rev. Rick Lund officiating.
