Green Bay Man Makes Initial Appearance In Dodge Court On Fleeing Charges

(Beaver Dam) A Green Bay man charged with running from Dodge County authorities made his initial appearance in court Monday. Omaha Tucker is facing a felony count of Fleeing and a misdemeanor charge of Resisting.

A sheriff’s deputy was dispatched to Highway 151 last April for a report of a disabled vehicle. They found a person asleep in the passenger seat but keys were in the ignition which led authorities to believe the individual was driving.

When asked for an ID, the suspect jumped from the passenger seat to the drivers. The deputy attempted to grab the keys but the suspect started the vehicle and drove away. Law enforcement was not able to relocate it.

The vehicle was a rental and authorities allegedly found the suspect while searching the lessee’s social media page. According to the criminal complaint, the suspect had a recognizable tattoo on his hand which was how officers identified Tucker.

If convicted, the 30-year-old faces over four years behind bars. Cash bond was set at $500 and a preliminary hearing is scheduled for April 14th.
