Green Bay Man Convicted Of Fleeing Dodge County Authorities

(Beaver Dam) A Green Bay man has been convicted of running from Dodge County authorities. Omaha Tucker plead guilty to a felony count of Fleeing and was placed on probation for two years. A one year jail sentence was imposed and stayed.

A sheriff’s deputy was dispatched to Highway 151 in April of 2021 for a report of a disabled vehicle. They found a person asleep in the passenger seat but keys were in the ignition which led authorities to believe the individual was driving. When asked for an ID, the suspect jumped from the passenger seat to the drivers.

The deputy attempted to grab the keys but the suspect started the vehicle and drove away. Law enforcement was not able to relocate it. The vehicle was a rental and authorities found the suspect while searching the lessee’s social media page.

According to the complaint, the suspect had a recognizable tattoo on his hand which was how officers identified the 32-year-old Tucker.
