7/7/11 – Governor Scott Walker is expected to sign legislation Friday that will allow residents to carry concealed firearms. The new law would go into effect in four months. It would require those wanting a concealed carry permit to take training first. The new bill says a hunter education program would fit the requirements, as would a firearms safety or training class given by a certified instructor.
