Governor Announces Funding for Street Improvements

(Fond du Lac) Governor Tony Evers recently announced the awarding of $22.5 million in federal funding for 25 street improvement projects in the state in areas where populations are above 50,000 people. The City of Fond du Lac is receiving funding for improvements to Military Road from Superior Street to Western Avenue. Oshkosh is also receiving money for two projects. One is for improvements to South Washburn Avenue from Dickinson to West 20th Street and the other for Osborn Avenue from Koeller to Knapp. Previously this year Bipartisan Infrastructure Law funding provided $35 million to projects in areas with fewer than 50,000 people.
