Watertown High School senior Ethan Kratzer has been named All-State by the Wisconsin Soccer Coaches Association. The honor wraps up a stellar four-year career with the Gosling which saw him receive All-Badger Conference recognition during his sophomore and junior campaigns. The Badger Conference did not sponsor an all-league team this season as the Goslings went 5-4-2, with all four losses by just one goal. During his four season’s Kratzer collected 16 goals and 24 assists.
“Ethan has been dedicated to soccer since he started playing in Kindergarten. He has always put a lot of work in to be the best player he can be and do whatever he can to help his teams win.” Said head coach/father Clayton Kratzer. “He is currently being recruited by a few colleges, but he is keeping his college options open to see what other opportunities come up as he starts up his final club season in December at a showcase tournament in Indiana. His club team will play more showcases in February, March, and April and, after seeing what college interest he receives from those, he will decide where he’ll pursue his college soccer and education. Wherever he decides to play, we know he can be an impact player for the program right away.”
