The Beaver Dam boys hockey team went on the road and picked up a 3-1 win at Waupun on Monday night. Waupun struck first in the opening period when Quinn Baley lit the lamp with assists going to Dakota Stephens and Brady Gerritson. BD pulled even late in the 1st period when Eli Uttech scored with help from Brady Shaw and Wes Biel. The Golden Beavers took the lead in the 2nd period as Conner Strasser slammed home a shot from Biel with Ian Conlin also getting an assist. BD added some insurance in the 3rd period when Gavin Hearley found the net for the 3rd time this season. Conlin registered his 2nd assist on the night.
The win improves Beaver Dam to 4-5 on the season they head to DePere tonight. Waupun drops to 1-5 on the season. They are off until January 5th when they travel to Oshkosh.
