Go Fund Me Established For Mayville Man Injured In Snowmobile Crash

(Mayville) A GoFundMe has been established for the Mayville man seriously injured in a weekend snowmobile accident in Minnesota. Cody was participating in the Nisswa 100 Snowmobile Race in Cass County on Sunday when he crashed on the course.

Medical aid was immediately initiated by a number of agencies that were staging the event. The 26-year-old was transported by helicopter to a Twin Cities area hospital with serious injuries.

According to the GoFundMe, Cody was thrown from his sled and broke his back and severed his spinal cord. He is paralyzed from the lower chest bone down.

Funds raised will go towards medical and rehab. Organizers set a $350-thousand-dollar goal and have raised just over $30-thousand-dollars so far.
