Girlfriend Of Murder Suspect Testifies

(Rio) The girlfriend of a man charged with fatally shooting another man last year and then trying to hide the body, testified in Dane County Court Wednesday. Michelle Goss was questioned by the attorney for Daniel Lieske, charged with shooting Jesse Faber. Goss testified that Lieske drank a lot of beer and had snorted cocaine — including once not long before the shooting. Goss said she wanted to take responsibility for remaining silent when she knew that Lieske had killed Faber, who was being sought by family and friends after he was reported missing. Lieske stands accused of killing Faber of Sun Prairie a year ago near Marshall and hiding the body in a storage locker in Rio.
