Here’s a look at Tuesday night in the Badgerland Summer High School Baseball League
Waupun 11 St. Mary’s Springs 0 – 5 innings
For the 2nd straight night Waupun’s Jarrett Buchholz had a big day at the plate as Waupun blanked St. Mary’s Springs in an 11-0 five inning affair in Badgerland Conference play. On Monday, Buccholz hit a pair of home runs and drove in all five Waupun runs, then on Tuesday, he went 2×2 with a double and a grand slam. Baron Buchholz also went deep and drove in three for Waupun. On the hill, Noah Gerritson pitching the five-inning no-hitter, striking out nine to earn the victory. The win improves Waupun to 6-3 on the season. They host Ripon on Wednesday night. The first pitch is set for 6:30pm at The Gus.
Oconomowoc 7 Watertown 3
Watertown dropped their 6th straight Badgerland Conference game on Tuesday night, falling at Oconomowoc 7-3. John Clifford and Brady Martin each drove runs as nine different Watertown players collected base hits in the game. Watertown (0-6) will host Monona Grove on Thursday night at 6pm.
