(Beaver Dam) Melissa Gehring, Associate principal-Activities and Athletics at Beaver Dam High School has been recognized by the National Interscholastic Athletic Administration Association as a Certified Master Athletic Administrator. Gehring joins the ranks of a very elite group of interscholastic athletic administrators nation wide to attain this designation. The certification process includes a thorough evaluation of the candidates educational background, experience, NIAAA leadership courses and professional contributions and the completion of a practical written or oral presentation project. District Superintendent DiStefano says Gehring “is committed to learning and excellence. She has continued to cultivate her growth as a leader in order to best serve the students, staff, coaches, and advisors in her care. This distinction only adds to the wonderful example she continues to set in Beaver Dam.”
