(Fox Lake) A Fox Lake restaurant is being recognized as the newest Blue Zones Project Approved Worksite in Dodge County. Cabby’s Grill & Patio received the designation for their commitment to supporting the well-being of their customers. The menu features the Blue Zones approved items such as the vegetable rice bowl and stuffed portabella mushrooms. The establishment also offers a smoke free dining experience indoors and out. The restaurant sources locally grown fruits and vegetables to feature on their menu. Owner Ray Caballero says when they opened the restaurant, they wanted to be different and have a number of options. He says they wanted to provide new recipes and a diverse menu for all customers. The Blue Zones Project, sponsored by Marshfield Medical Center – Beaver Dam, is a community-led well-being improvement initiative designed to make healthy choices easier through permanent changes to environment, policy, and social networks.
