4/8/17 – The Columbus Council formally agreed to a monetary package with Fromm Family Foods for an expansion project in TIF district number 4 last Monday night. The multi-million dollar Fromm expansion on the highway 16 side of the current facility has already begun. Recent mild weather has allowed earth-moving crews to begin. City Economic Director Dave Carlson says that this will help Fromm build their new warehouse and production expansion and over the next 20 years provide roughly $1.3 million in assistance to Fromm. The Fromm expansion is located on the northwest side of the City between highway 16 and Columbus / Fall River Road.
