(Dodge County) Wisconsin health officials are reporting 938 positive coronavirus cases in Friday’s daily update. There are 12,111 active cases in the state, a decrease of 536 from Thursday. Active cases make up 2.2-percent of the 554-thousand people who have tested positive to date. So far, there have been 535-thousand recoveries.
State health officials recorded 11 deaths bringing that total to 6,151. Deaths account for 1.1-percent of all cases in Wisconsin while 4.5-percent of those known to have contracted the virus needed to be hospitalized. Of the over two-million people who have died worldwide, the CDC says 473-thousand people have died in the United States.
Dodge County has experienced 154 deaths and 11,301 cases, a one-day increase of four positive tests. The county had 61 negative tests returned for a running total of 39,299. Health officials in Dodge County are actively monitoring 148 people, no change from Thursday.
Washington County has seen 128 deaths along with 13,555 cases to date; 280 are active cases.
Fond du Lac County has 88 deaths with 11,781 positive tests on record; 245 are active cases.
The state says Jefferson County has 75 deaths, one more than on Thursday, and 7,744 cases to date; with 111 active cases.
Columbia County has reported 47 deaths and 4,945 positive tests; there are 97 active cases.
Green Lake County has 18 deaths with 1,515 cases on record; 25 cases have been reported in the last two weeks.
