(Juneau) A Fox Lake man was convicted Thursday of escaping from the Dodge County Jail in October. Dylan Joseph Farber had been jailed on felony charges related to a high-speed chase in July. He pled no contest to both felony Escape and Fleeing an Officer charges. Farber was not on work release but he apparently slipped out the door of the Huber pod when an inmate was brought into the facility. The officer had his back turned and did not see Farber but the inmate being brought in explained what had just happened. Farber was taken into custody later that same day by the Wauwatosa Police Department. A pre-sentencing investigation was ordered and a hearing scheduled in March.
