3/2/17 – The Fox Lake Council last night approved a resolution that will require property owners to replace any lead water pipes that run into their homes. The measure allows the city to order the replacement of lead laterals for safety reasons. Alderman John Mund says that they will not go out to see who has lead water laterals, but when discovery is made through planned construction work the city will notify the home owner that something has to be done.
